Mack Graves, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member
Mack has been involved in the food industry for more than 30 years. He speaks nationally and internationally on meat and poultry marketing issues, with an emphasis on establishing consumer-trusted brands. He is recognized as an expert in the natural and organic meat and poultry industries.
Mack served as President and CEO of Coleman Natural Meats, Inc. during its transition from a family business to the largest natural beef company in the U.S. He also was interim CEO of Meyer Foods, producer of Meyer Natural Angus Beef.
He served on the Organic Trade Association’s Livestock Committee, which helped formulate protocols for raising, processing and marketing organic meat and poultry. He writes a monthly column, “Marketing Trends,” for the National Meat Association’s Lean Trimmings newsletter. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business Administration.
Wayne Langston, Vice President, Production
Wayne manages a registered Angus and Hereford cattle operation in Susanville, California, and is responsible for selecting ranchers and their cattle that become Panorama Grass-Fed Beef as well as assuring that all cattle meet the Panorama raising protocols. He helps schedule all production for Panorama. He is a director of the Lassen County Cattlemen’s Association and a past director of the California Shorthorn Association. He has shown and judged cattle extensively throughout the U.S.
Lori Carrion, Chief Operating Officer
Lori manages sales, distribution, quality assurance and production departments at Panorama, including contacts with potential new customers and communication about customer product requirements to the company’s production department. She conducts trainings and seminars for meat department managers and store personnel, and monitors company compliance with the USDA National Organic Program. Prior to joining Panorama, Lori worked for a nongovernmental organization administering Federal Crop Insurance Programs under the Risk Management Agency of the USDA.
Carolyn Carey, Rancher & Investor
Carolyn is the owner of Carey Ranch near Alturas, Calif. She is one of the founders of Western Ranchers Beef and a Vice President of the California Cattlemen. She developed and trademarked the Born and Raised in the USA® labeling program, which guarantees to consumers that beef is exclusively from cattle that have been raised in the U.S. She is an investor in Panorama and actively participates in its management, assisting the company with its labeling processes.
Rick Harrison, Rancher & Board Member
Rick is a partner in InterWest Insurance Services, which is one of the nation’s 50 largest retail insurance agencies. Rick is also owner/partner of Pete’s Valley Cattle in Northern California, which raises cattle for Panorama.
Darrell Wood, President & Board Member
Darrell is a fourth-generation full-time rancher and owner of Wood Ranches in Susanville and Vina, California. He has chaired the Lassen County Cattleman’s Association and is Board Chairman for the California Rangeland Trust, which works closely with rangeland owners to protect and enhance the environmental and economic benefits of these working landscapes. He has been honored for his grassland stewardship by the Society for Range Management and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Richard Stewart, Investor & Board Member
Rich is an owner/partner of Pete’s Valley Cattle, a cow-calf operation near Woodland and a principal supplier to Panorama. Rich also is owner / partner of TS&L Seed Company, a distributor of vegetable and field seeds throughout the Western U.S. and Mexico.
Bill Wilkinson, Founding Investor & Board Member
Bill is the owner and president of GreenLeaf, San Francisco’s premier distributor of produce and specialty foods to restaurants and food service customers. GreenLeaf serves the Bay Area from Sacramento to Big Sur, California.
Callie Wood, Investor & Chairman of the Board
Callie is owner, with her husband Darrell, of Wood Ranches in Susanville and Vina, California. She is also a principal in Shasta Livestock Auction and Western Video Market.
